The New York subway is more than just a rust bucket in transit; there are some unwritten rules too. As the victim of an airborne nail clipping myself, my regretful favorite is keep personal grooming personal.
Then there’s the pole huggers. Whether with a full-body embrace or a tight grip with the butt cheeks—although wow!—not cool. We prototyped a little bitty to encourage people to share the pole.

Texting while driving is way more dangerous than drunk driving. A sober driver reacts to changes in traffic within 0.5 seconds, a drunk driver needs another four feet, and someone texting needs up to 70 feet just to start braking. We were asked to come up with a simple, yet effective, way of portraying this.

Never really much of a sporty kid, this win holds a soft spot in my heart. TEDx was coming to town and put out a call for entries looking to promote their ethos of “ideas worth spreading.” Our idea won and the 1st prize was that it was now their official promo. Genius marketing.

I don’t remember the last time I went to eat somewhere without reading the reviews first. This made me wonder how I ever dared to do anything before someone else did it first. Like having a relationship. What if you could read reviews first before getting into one?
